My first couple days have gone great! All my the kids in my class (17) are really fun to work with and I love it! I can not get over how eager to learn all of these children are! In this classroom the students are able to choose their own station at math time and it amazes me how well they stay on task! I can not wait to go back every day just because there is so much more to learn every day. I had my first read aloud today and it went great! It is great how books can tie into different subjects, such as math, and help the children relate to the content being taught. Having a GREAT time!
I totally agree about how eager all of the students are to learn! I think it makes everything more exciting and more fun to work with the students when they are excited to learn. Glad to hear that your first read aloud went well! Keep up the good work :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great that everything is going well. We have around 28 students in our class so things seem to always be loud and hectic. With so many students it is hard to keep them on task.
