First day thoughts...
Organized chaos, would have to be the best way to describe this afternoon in the classroom. The two and a half hours I was their flew by. In pairs the kids took turns at "stations" to the library, at the computers, reading, etc. Lots of coming and going! My CT uses a set of wind chimes to get the attention of the class. I thought it was a very creative and effective way of doing that. It was a good first day, I like my class already and can't wait for tomorrow!

couldnt agree with you anymore on the organized chaos! along with me, my partner, the ct, and a para, some of the kids still manage to get away with doing something crazy. i had a blast, but was not ready for that. i am way more prepared for today!
ReplyDeleteIt may seem like there's a lot of hands on deck in the classroom ready to help out, but there's always that one student who gets away from you. I couldn't agree with you more. The students I'm working with are full of energy!
