Halloween!!!
Last Friday was super chaotic in my classroom! Being as it was the day before Halloween weekend the students were full of energy! Attention spans were very short and we had to keep the activities short, sweet, and very hands on! We did pumpkin math with the students which was a ton of fun! The class was split into three groups with my CT, my partner, and I as the group leaders. With each of our groups with did predicions of what we thought the pumpkins looked like inside, how many seeds we thought it had, and then finally we dug out the insides and counted the seeds! The students in my group really loved it! They all took turns pulling goopy globs of pumpkin guts out! It was a great experience for me as far as classroom managment goes. It was super messy and a bit of a challange to keep everyone on task, but we all had a great time!
