Helpful Pointers

Over the course of my FE my CT and other teachers have been giving me and my partner some helpful tips on ways to save money. I thought I would one of my favorites, and see if anyone else has any other ideas.

~Laminate the name cards before you write the students names on them. Make sure you use permanent marker to write the names, and when the school year is over, use nail polish remover to take the name off. This way you don't have to spend money every year getting new name tags for all the desks. (:

  1. I love the money saving pointers! I have seen a few good ones in my classroom as well. When the students work with individual whiteboards, they use a sock as an eraser. Creative and effective!

  2. Oh this is a great idea! It this just an idea or something your CT actually does? I'm just wondering how well the permanent marker actually comes off with the nail polish remover. I would love to hear any other tips your CT has given you!
