Volunteers and classroom help

My classroom has only 17 in it and on an average day there are two or three of us there along with the CT. I didn't think much of it until yesterday afternoon when we were doing our usual afternoon math stations and it was just myself and the CT. Holy crap was there ever a difference. There are eight different stations so seven pairs and one group of three. They spend fifteen minutes at a station and the rotate. The computer station is by far the quietest, once they sit at a computer you can't even tell they are in the room anymore. Otherwise, without all the help, it takes only a minute for two or three stations to be off task and the room gets wild. Those volunteers make a world of difference and I hope they know how appreciated they are!
