Crazy Week
I felt like this week flew by. The students seemed to be super hyper this week and refused to follow directions more than usual. Let's just say I am happy it is Friday night and I have a few days to relax. I love working with the children but they can definitely grind on a person's patience. It's great working with the kindergartners but having such a big class makes it very difficult. I feel somewhat bad that after next week my CT won't have my partner's and my help to control the class. Overall, so far this has been a very good experience and I have a much better understanding of what a kindergarten teacher goes through.

I feel sorry for my CT too! I've seen the difference two extra can make in the classroom. I can't imagine what it must be like when it's just the CT! She's told us already, "I want you to stay!" Truthfully, I'm learning much more WORKING in the classroom then I am sitting in a classroom at SCSU:)
ReplyDeleteOne thing I have realized to is how busy you always are when teaching. I agree that it feels the kids were crazy this week. My CT is not excited to see my partner and I leave also. The positive thing to look at is that this experience may have provided you with the thought you may want to teach an older grade.
