Monday of all days was a great day. Even after the daylight savings switch, the kinds were really good today. The words, "take a break" weren't mentioned all afternoon!!! They seemed to stay on task and engage in the activities more than usual. It was great!
Then came Tuesday. It is amazing how things can change from one day to the next. They were all riled up and silly. Both the CT and I seemed to spend the entire afternoon trying to keep their attention.
These two days have been a good lesson in understanding and patience. Some days are great, others maybe not as much. I think I learned that it is okay to let kids be a little silly now and again, as long as you keep it under control and still make the day is as productive as possible.
My partner and CT and I have been experiencing the same type of thing. I've learned that you have to pick and choose your battles.
